Tues 22nd Jan 2013 Seminar: Game-Changing & Future Energy Technologies
TICKETS AVAILABLE BELOW:
Background: Permanence is the illusion of every energy age. Not only is there no end point in innovation or disruptive change in energy technology, it is accelerating. No one can accurately forecast the future, but to see where the world might be going in the next 30 years, FES has organised a special seminar to try and capture some of the developments that are either below the radar or beyond the horizon of most energy and technology enthusiasts.
We are delighted to have the following 4 confirmed speakers:
1. Alan Brignall of www.spaceenergy.com – who will speak on 24 hour, 365 days a year Space-Based Solar Power beamed down from a satellite in orbit – Short video clip available here.
2. Ralf Trottinow of www.biossence.com – who will speak on the rise of renewable syngas, the end of landfill and consumer recycling
3. Quentin Tannock of www.cambridgeip.com (& FES Advisory Board member) – a leading intellectual property analysis firm – who will speak on what the volume and direction of ip registration tells us is the coming future emphasis of energy technology innovation
4. Theodore Bird of Windpower Ltd. – who will speak on the 9 MW Aerogenerator X vertical axis wind turbine
