Was shocked and saddened to hear this morning of Malcolm Wick’s passing away. As Energy Minister, I had met him a few times and he was unfailingly courteous, genial and easy-going even with people like me who didn’t really see eye to eye with him. He also took the trouble to master a lot of technical detail for what must be one of the most difficult jobs in government- Energy Minister.
